Jenny Blatti is a Professional Associate, having previously worked in academia in the Department of Nursing Science. Her professional background is in general nursing science and nursing education. A love of nursing, teaching and a humanising pedagogy has shaped her career, as well as a passion for making a difference in nursing care and nursing education. She has a strong interest in academic writing, qualitative research, particularly narrative enquiry, as well as evidence-based practice and implementation science.
Research areas of interest include debriefing in nursing, resilience research, simulation/virtual simulation and reflective practice. She has recently assisted with the review of fourth-year research proposals and the assessment of draft research manuscripts.
