
Emmanuel Zamokwakhe Hlungwane is a Deputy Campus Head at Lilitha College of Nursing Lusikisiki Campus, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
Emmanuel holds a Master of Business Administration (Merit), Master of Nursing (cum laude), a Baccalarues Curationis Honores in Medical & Surgical Nursing in Adult Critical Care Nursing, a PG Diploma in Nursing and Health Service Management, a Diploma in Nursing Education, and a Diploma in Nursing (General, Community, Psychiatry) and Midwifery.
His research focuses on the implementation of evidence-based guidelines in critical care units to facilitate the safety of mechanically ventilated patients.
Locally, Emmanuel is a member of the Critical Care Society of Southern Africa (CCSSA), a member of the Nursing Education Association (NEA), as well as the South African Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (SAIOH).
Internationally, he is a member of the Phi Gamma Chapter (Virtual) of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (STTI).
