Professor Peter Adatara is an Associate Professor at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), Ghana, and a Research Associate in the Department of Nursing Science and brings over twelve years of experience in academia. Professor Adatara's research focus on maternal health, particularly the utilization of maternal care services in rural settings, with a strong emphasis on qualitative research methodologies. Prof. Adatara takes pleasure in supervising postgraduate research and is currently guiding three Masters/PhD students. His teaching expertise lies in health and nursing management, administration, and qualitative research methods, which he delivers in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Dr. Adatara employs an active learning approach that integrates technology tools and resources to enhance student engagement through activities like group discussions, problem-solving tasks, and hands-on experiences. Additionally, he has actively contributed to curriculum development and design for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
