
Sharon is currently a research associate with Nelson Mandela University. She holds a PhD in Nursing and supervises Master’s and Doctoral students.
She practices as a healthcare consultant since retiring from her previous role as Chief Nursing and Quality Executive at Life Healthcare.
Her current focus is on leadership and management development, coaching, education and research. She has a special interest in Nursing Informatics and is currently driving this specialization.
Sharon has presented at national and international nursing and healthcare conferences. She is also well published and is the author of a number of nursing textbooks used at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her latest book is on Health Information Systems in Nursing.
She is passionate about people development and is a professional executive coach. A role that she believes makes a difference in developing leaders.
