Ms Candice Williams is a lecturer of the Department of Nursing Science, and has worked in academia for more than five years. Her research interest is in the area of general nursing science, with a specific focus on Nephrology, dialysis, peritonitis with a preference for quantitative research, particularly quasi-experimental. Ms Williams enjoys research and currently is involved in the supervision of multiple undergraduate projects. Ms Williams’ teaching focus area is renal nursing which she facilitates in the undergraduate programmes. She uses a Teacher-centred and Student-centred teaching approach with the aim of enhancing learning and teaching by making it fun and exciting during the learning process. She has been involved in the curriculum development and design for the Nephrology Postgraduate Diploma.
