Mrs Sbongile Ntleko is a lecturer in the Department of Nursing Science, and has worked in academia for the past 5 years. Her research interest is in the area of midwifery with a specific focus on infant feeding practices and teenage pregnancy with a preference for qualitative research. Mrs Sbongile Ntleko enjoys research supervision and is currently supervising various groups of bachelor of nursing students.  Her teaching focus area is midwifery, which she facilitates in the undergraduate programmes. She uses a Facilitator teaching approach with the aim of encouraging students to take charge of their learning while being guided to learning material available in order to achieve their learning outcomes.
